Before the match

Players join in the order they sign up

Players open the link and add their name, and everyone sees the same live list. They can tap the position they want on the pitch. Anyone who pulls out before the cutoff pays nothing. After the cutoff, the place is charged unless someone on the waiting list takes it, and that player is told straight away.

Collecting money

No more chasing players for payment

Add the costs for the night, such as the field, bibs, water and referee, and mark which are shared and which are per person. Balances carry over to the next match. To send a reminder, press one button and each player gets a private message. Nobody is named in the group chat.

After the match

Results and man of the match votes

Enter the score and the scorers, and the same link becomes the voting page. The default awards are man of the match, best in defence and paling tak function, and you can rename or remove any of them. Only players who played can vote, and nobody can vote for themselves.

Good to know

Before you start

GameOn was built while running Our Sports Club and El Lobo FC, and we still use it every week.

It does not book the field for youYou still book the venue yourself. GameOn remembers the venue and its usual price, so you only enter them once.
Attendance is up to your playersGameOn shows who turns up most often, counted from the day each player joined, so new players are compared fairly.
Not only for footballIt works for futsal, badminton, running and cycling groups too.

Frequently asked questions

Do players need to install an app?

No. Players open the link from your group chat in their browser. They only need their name and phone number to join.

How do players pay?

Online through the match link, or in cash at the venue. Cash payments are recorded in the club cash box, so every payment is in one place.

Which sports does it support?

Football, futsal, badminton, running and cycling. The pitch and positions only appear for sports that use them.

Can more than one person run the club?

Yes. You choose who else can manage matches, money and the squad.

Can teams outside Malaysia use it?

Yes. Sign ups, the waiting list, positions and voting work anywhere. Online payment currently uses Malaysian payment methods, so teams elsewhere can record cash payments instead.
